Marguerite M. Nocchi, Esquire - Board of Directors

Marguerite M. Nocchi, Esquire, concentrates her practice in the area of family law, offering sound advice in divorce, support, custody, division of assets, and adoption.  In addition, Marguerite assists many clients in developing an estate plan by preparing wills, health care powers of attorney, and durable (financial) powers of attorney.   Marguerite also has experience probating estates and preparing the REV1500 tax return for the decedent’s family members.

Marguerite is a court-appointed attorney in guardianship matters.  Marguerite volunteers in the Friend of the Court program (utilized in Protection From Abuse Court).  In addition, Marguerite is a volunteer for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Program(MCCAP).  In this capacity, she represents children in a host of litigation, from alleged child abuse, matters to child custody litigation.

While attending Temple Law School, Marguerite began her life-long journey of helping victims of domestic violence.  Marguerite interned at Women Against Abuse in Philadelphia. Later, after her graduation, she received the pro-bono award for her work in the Montgomery County Protection from Abuse Court, served on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Center of Montgomery County, was an active participant in the original Friend of the Court Program, and currently volunteers as a Friend of the Court.

A lifelong member of the North Penn Community, Marguerite attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School, Lansdale Catholic High School, King’s College, and The Temple University Beasley School of Law.
